Scuba Diving

If you can swim, you can dive, and the Mediterranean is one of the most interesting places in the world to do it. There are excellent schools here and endless places and things to explore under the sea, right here in Fethiye Bay. There are many antiquities and ruins as well as sea turtles and a wide variety of fish and other sea life. Diving is available both from the beach and from boats. Fethiye Bay is the place to start, but the Gulf is large and you can make a day trip around the islands, stopping to dive at various sites. Experienced divers are always available to show the way.

Paragliding and Microlights

Paragliding from Baba Dag Mountian near Ölüdeniz offers the ultimate sightseeing experience. Views of the beaches at Ölüdeniz, Fethiye and Çalis and the islands along the coast are breathtakingly beautiful. If you have never tried it, you can go in tandem with a local professional pilot. It is an experience you will never forget. Microlighting is starts at Övacik and from there the choice is yours. Instruction in both sports is available.

White-water rafting

If you enjoy the thrill of a fast ride through the mountains to the sea by raft, you will love this. A great day trip from Fethiye for the white-water enthusiast.

Water Sports

Water sports are very popular in this area. Water skiing, wind-surfing, para-sailing canoeing, paddle-boating, ringo and banana boating are all available. Decisions, decisions!

Trekking

The Lycian Way is a famous route for trekkers, and any or all of it is available to you. It is composed of a chain of paths which connected the cities of the Lycian Union thousands of years ago. The trek from Kayaköy village to Afkula is beautiful with spectacular sea views and a sunset over the sea, viewed from the path will never be forgotten. The path you want, the level of difficulty and distance, are all matters which can be arranged to suit you. Just don't forget the camera!

Jeep Safari

A Jeep Safari is the best way to see a number of unusual and interesting places which you might not find on your own. You will be collected from your hotel and spend the day visiting Tlos, Yakapark trout farm, Saklikent Gorge, Xanthos and Patara, the principal port of Lycia famed for its oracle of Apollo. Plenty of time to catch up on the history, take photos and sample the local food, all maket his a popular excursion.

Boat day-trip

Boat trips either by group or individually. Big boat or small, this is a must when visiting Fethiye.

A most relaxing day sailing in the sun around the islands of Fethiye Gulf may include stops along the way and exellent food. You may wish to swim or fish from the boat or just enjoy the view and photo opportunities. Your holiday would be incomplete without a boat trip to Butterfly Valley, Ölüdeniz and Twelve Islands.

Horseback Riding

Trail rides are available in the mountains and on the beach, even for those who have not ridden before. Gentle horses and experienced wranglers make it all easy going. Those who haven't tried it may not know that when you ride through a natural area on a horse, the wild life that would ordinarily hide, go on about their business, unafraid of another four footed visitor. The result is a uniquely relaxing and at the same time exhilarating experience with magnificant views of the sea and mountains  and  birds and other wildlife in their natural surroundings.

Trip to Dalyan

Sea turtles, rock tombs, mud baths and visits by wooden ferrys to Izutuzu beach, famous as the hatching ground of the caretta carettas are some of the high points of this day trip.

There are many things to see and buy in the town of Fethiye and in the markets and countryside. Carpets, gold and silver jewlery, leather goods and ceramics to name but a few. We will be happy to accompany you on shopping excursions, to guide help with translation, and we will organise trips out of town to the places where carpets are handwoven and other products made.
